Founded in 1988 by Carlos Correia, a Portuguese native, in the heart of the Ironbound Section of Newark, NJ. PSS has expanded to a multi-generation family business providing both industrial and residential structural steel needs. When Carlos opened the doors to PSS in 1988, he brought with him over 20 years of experience and an extensive background knowledge of both steel fabrication and installation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s objective was to service and provide the local community with small improvements such as railings, platforms, and stairs. As the years passed, the projects became larger and so did the demographics of the new projects. In 1991, Carlos\u2019 daughter, Paula Cabral, joined the business on a full-time basis. Paula was a recent college graduate majoring in business management. She became involved in negotiations and customer service.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t

Almost a decade later, Antonio Cabral, Carlos\u2019 son in law joined the team in the year 2000 with a background of heavy equipment & management. This was the beginning of the company\u2019s rise, over the last 20 years, the business has grown substantially. The once small community business now accommodates to larger projects ranging from 1 ton to 1,000,000 tons of steel serving commercial, residential, and public projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Today, PSS employs over 50 people from different backgrounds and trades.\u00a0We have two facilities approximately ranging 25,000 sqft with automated machinery for a professional and efficient service.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Paula Cabral, took ownership of PSS and has since became a WBE & SBE company.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n
